Kristen Rice (K Studio) is a freelance graphic design artist, website designer, and photographer living in Ohio. Kristen has always been crafty, and used to constantly be at her grandmother’s side, learning to sew, knit, cross-stitch, and anything else that her grandmother was happy to show her how to do.
Her creativity spiraled from this point and she dabbled in creating clothing, necklaces, and other jewelry. Then, once she began having children, she started searching even more so for a better digital outlet for her creativity, and one that would help her to preserve her children’s memories at the same time.
Back in 2005, after the arrival of her second child, Kristen was looking online for paper scrapbooking products, and discovered digital scrapbooking. Soon after downloading her first kits, and learning how to use them, she became immediately hooked, feeling that this was the creative outlet that she needed, and she was able to scrap those precious moments at the same time.
Once she became an avid scrapper, she began designing and has been doing so since 2008. She finds inspiration from her husband and 3 children, and by all things natural and spiritual that move around her.
Kristen has been blessed by all the amazing people that she has met along her journey while scrapping and designing. She never thought that she would be running a successful digital scrapbooking store alongside one of her best friends, as well as designing and getting the opportunity to be at home with her family as well.
