Designer Notes

How many of us know a second language? Can you speak it fluently? ASL, or Sign Language is spoken/seen by over 2 million users. It’s a complex, beautiful language. Babies are often taught signs before they can speak to communicate their wants and needs. SIGNING IS FUN is the latest creation from Laurie’s Scraps and is near and dear to her heart as she is fluent in ASL. The collection includes an entire alpha of the ASL symbols along with some clever renditions of the hand gestures for phrases like “I love you” and “friend”. The palette is a subtle blend of neutral tones with a pop of red and gold. You’ll find patterned and solid papers, strings, hearts, flowers and buttons. Laurie’s made some great journal cards and titles too.
